Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development, Permanent Secretary Dr. Hapenga Kabeta noted that while mining companies continue to invest heavily in modern equipment, engineering controls and advanced technology, the preservation of human life remains the industry's greatest priority.
